OCEAN PALMS

Ocean Palms at St. Augustine Beach is a single family home community with a great island location nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Homes are placed well back from historic beach highway A1A with most overlooking freshwater lakes or nature preserve settings.  In fact, over 40 acres of the subdivision is a dedicated conservation area.  It is not uncommon to see deer and a variety of birds in or coming from the preserve or an occasional porpoise or manatee off the community fishing pier.

Ocean Palms is designed to be truly pedestrian friendly, featuring a complete sidewalk system throughout the entire community.  You can easily walk to all the community amenities such as the central community park and swimming pool, the river park and Intracoastal fishing and viewing pier, plus the beach is only two blocks from the community entrance via a dedicated beach walkway.      

Areas within Ocean Palms are dedicated to different styles of homes. Custom homes abut the Matanzas River / ICW and have their own piers and boat docks.  Single family homes make up the bulk of the residences and require the homeowner to do or contract for their individual lawn and landscaping.  Patio homes are individual homes on generally smaller lots with an association that handles lawn and landscaping issues for a monthly fee.  Single family and Patio homes were all built by Palmetto Homes of St. Augustine and feature high security concrete block construction.  All are deed restricted with an active association.
